When all five of my children were little we would dance

It started with my son Brian on my hip dancing around the livingroom to Little Brown Jug by Glen Miller. All of the boys laughed and wiggled or rocked to the music. The and I girls danced to Neil Diamond songs. After COMMING TO AMERICA and a few other songs by Neil Diamond we put on the JOHNITHAN LIVINGSTON SEIGAL album and dance to "BE" winding back down from the twirling and jumping, to this beautiful song. With my children dancing all around me, I would close my eyes and feel the song and all of the rompusing and sillyness would just become peace, the livingroom became a meadow or a hillside I could feel the music and the children dancing around and with me. I always opened my eyes before BE was over(maybe just to be sure they were still there)., I always found them dancing quietly, sometimes they had thier eyes closed too. I was not a good mom and I regret that fact most in my life. I wonder if they remember the dancing. It is a sweet and macical memory for me.
