Angels and Demons or Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown?

I read both books and both liked it very much. I think Dan Brown is not just the greatest writer, but one hell-of-a researcher as well!! But I liked Angels and Demons better, although the comparison is not that much of a difference. But I think Angels and Demons is better. How about you? What do you think?

Da Vinci Code is solid and good, but Angels and Demons blows this competition away. A&D has much more depth, is more interesting, and has a better conclusion that satisfied completely. Unlike VinciCode that leaves much wanting.

I loved both books. Now I did read The Da Vinci Code after seeing the movie but it was still a fantastic read. Angels and Demons was very good as well. Dan Brown obviously did a great deal of research before writting the books. It shows in his writing and makes the stories so much better because of it.

I have read both Angels and Demons and The Da Vinci and I found the Da Vinci code better since it was the first one that I read. I think that the da vinci code gave me the excitement that I was looking for. Angels and Demons was nice too but I found the da vinci code better.

IMHO, both books are a good read. But if you haven't read them, I recommend you should read A&D first and then DVC. I see it as the right chronological arrangement. ;)

I think Dan Brown did amazing in telling the story in both books. I also like angels and demons better. I like the story that contain the history of illuminati and the war between science and religion.

i agree!i've read all of dan brown's books and without a doubt this is the best so far.this is actually the first book of brown where da vinci code originate's.but compared to da vinci code, this is way better.the excitement level is at it's peak that you'll never want to put the book down and stop reading.each and every scene would lead you to want more and more of it and encourage you to flip the pages over the fastest that you could.you won't afford to miss the next scenes that will happen and the yearning to finish the book is constantly there.each scene would keep your heart beats faster and faster as the story progress.and until the very last page, this book didn't fail to amaze me.thoughts are well organized and story is presented very well.though this is a fictional novel it seems so real.

I actually read Angels and Demons first before Da Vinci Code. I definitely liked it better. The story was very intriguing to me. I still enjoyed Da Vinci Code, just not as much. I am now reading Digitsl Fortress. Though I Love the whole crypto and code breaking thing, I was surprised to find another book about it. I am not very far into it. We will see how it goes.

I don't read much for pleasure so the fact that I actually took the time to finish this novel, I was pretty pleased. The novel had a quick pace and I agree that the information in the novel was well researched. The novel had the ability to blur the line between reality and fiction because as you read it, you start to wonder if all the events have the possibility to occur and wonder if some of the individuals in the book truly exist. Great novel and I highly recommend it.

I'm fond of reading books more on legal pocketbooks by john grisham but the moment dan brown introduce Da Vinci my curiosity triggers me to shift genre and that's the moment I read Dan Brown's work and for me Angels and demons is better compare to Da Vinci it has twisted plots, more precise and a real page turner. I was not able to sleep that night without finishing the book.

I like the book most, as it makes me to imagine the fictions and that gives more thrill and likings while reading with expectations and suspense.
