Astral Projection... do you believe its real?

I have been curious of astral projection for some time now but have never actually met anyone who has controlled one of their dreams or have done anything they have perceived to be astral projection. I've had a few experiences... only enough to leave me with a handful of questions. Have you ever had an out of body experience? If yes then let me know.. If not then maybe you can state your opinion. Thank you!

i have read a book and this topic is in its content. the author said that astral projection was first used by the indian tribe to warn their tribes people on an impending danger. their scouts use this ability that they have learned from tribal leaders. i have not yet expirience it but i like to have to do it but i just dont know how. but the book said it is too dangerous that it might stray your soul far away that u cannot get back to your body.

I don't know about your soul getting too far away but when I was young and I met this lady whos name is Amber. She use to always tell me that she is around me even when I cannot see her and that she can go into my dreams and talk to me and one night I did trade conversation with her in my dreams and when I asked her about it she said yes... it was real but I don't know. That was a long time ago. I grew up practicing wicca but never learned anything about astral projection. Any books that you suggest? Maybe a good website or two?
