I am trying to get into the habit of counting my blessings more often. This month has been tough for us but I find that when I write down my daily blessings it eases my mind. Here are some for today... 1. My family is alive and healthy 2. We were all kept safe in our travels 3. My husband and I are still together 4. My mom called today 5. My children made me smile 6. My son got a good grade on his spelling test 7. The sun was shining 8. We had food to eat 9. My husband is working 10. A lady gave me a stamp at the UPS store because I didn't have one :)

Something that helps me to really appreciate my blessings is to keep a journal. You would be amazed how much more they mean to you when you ponder and write things down in a journal. I often smile as I relive my funny or wonderful moments as I reread a previous entry. I also cry as I write in my journal. It is a great way to end the day too. Sounds like you have a lot to be thankful for.

I am always attempting to keep a daily journal but it never turns out to be daily. I write when something special happens or when I've had a rough day. My grandma was VERY good at writing a journal entry every day for YEARS! She has passed away but we still have all of her little journal books and calenders. I also have some notebooks and calenders and yes, it is neat to go back every once in a while and read things. It brings back various memories and emotions. And yes, just writing can bring up emotions. It's a good release.

Isn't wonderful when you know the Lord there is so much life around us when we take time to look at the world God has given us, it the small things in life that are so great, when ever I've been in my valleys it seems it is the small things I miss it is also the small things that make others day also, like the stamp she gave you for me it was a cup of coffee a stranger gave me when I was short on change I challenge all the Mylot folk to pay it forward and do something small today for a stranger.

I am surprised and glad to see quite a few brothers and sisters in the Lord here. Thank you and that's a good challenge...God bless you!
