Hannibal Rising: New Hannibal Installment

I didn't watch Hannibal Rising as Gaspard Ulliel replaces Anthony Hopkins as Hannibal Lecter, so I taught why watch it as I cannot see anyone else other than Anthony Hopkins as Hannibal Lecter. There is an average review about this movie but still I don't find it interesting to watch ....

I'm looking forward to the movie, but first I want to read the book. It has com out her (in Belgium) in Dutch, but I want to read in in English. The library hasn't got the English copy yet, so I will have to wait.

I'm looking forward to it because I'm hoping it will be better than the book. I don't know, the book seemed to be lacking so much! I was expecting this deep analysis of how Hannibal Lector came to be the man he was in Silence if the Lambs/Red Dragon/Hannibal, but it was very simple and not as provocative as I imagined it would be. I guess I expected to be more shocked with this latest one. I'll be very interested to see how the movie pans out.

I have read the book and i really liked it so yes i am looking forward to the movie,dunno if its gonna release here in India,and i do hope Gaspard Ulliel does full justice to the role established by Sir Anthuny Hopkins.

It's just one of the movies I'm looking forward to see this 2007,and yes the movie will be about Hannibal Lecter's youth and medical student days...plus Gong Li will be there.
