I do apologise if I have offended you judy00.
It seems that my sense of humour is not appreciated on here as I have already upset another poster so I will once again apologise and keep my humour to myself.
I hope I have been forgiven as I am not here to upset people thats not really my nature.
I do hope you will find new friendships in your home town.

No guys at work? Why don't you hang out in libraries, coffee shops? I can't say bars because there wouldn't be any serious guys there. Wow 5 years is a long time. I think you should get a make over... ask your kid if you should change the way you dress... but still be yourself and goodluck on your search!

I think perhaps that thecity is mostly full of young adults, and the ones my age are very cliquey. It seems that if you aren't already part ofa group, you just aren't welcome. i worked with one woman who after 2 years of not finding any friends declared she'd rather be at home on welfare with a few friends than here with nobody but me to talk to and tons of money. She just needed more, and we didn't have anything in common.

Do they have pubs there in your area? Pubs are good. Park is also a good place to meet people. Libraries, cinemas, and even the malls. I hope you will find the one you're looking for soon or at least he would find you first. Goodluck, judyt00
