study time

My son 8yrs old is in 3rd year of schooling. In general i find him he is intelligent but when it comes to studies he just knowingly or unknowingly makes a very ackward atmosphere especially when he is sarts with his daily lessons. He does not allow to interfere to give him advice so as to what he should to improve his studies and even he does not like being corrected . Finally he starts crying badly and makes my temper go up.But sometimes he behaves like a good boy and does all that i tell he to do without any objection. Can someone advice me how sould i handle him during his studies.

ALL WORK AND NO PLAY MAKES JACK A DULL BOY.so i think u can make a time table as to when he has to study and when he has to play as per his interest.try being a friend and i think this wud help u to certain extent.dont force him to study when he is not in a mood.YOU CAN GIVE THE EXAMPLES OF GREAT PERSONALITIES IN ORDER TO BOOST HIS CONFIDENCE.HOPE IT WORKS OUT.....
