Heart is not just made of arteries and veins but of feelings too.isnt it? Researchers claim that feelings are sparked due to the chemical reactions occuring in brain.Since traditionally feelings were expressed using heart, it became the acceopted theory..

Brain might be the root of feelings, but heart is also involved somewhere..there seems to exist a relation.How could one suffer from heart-attack when overly excited or anxious..why does the pumping grow when one gets nervous?ofcourse,heart might have got instructions from brain.but what stimulates it?

I feel, there is definitely a link between heart and emotions, but it can be explained scientifically, as well. Heart attacks can be caused due to emotinal stress, as stress increases the blood pressure in our body, and then if a person has other symptoms of Heart attack, like - obesity, etc. then he or she can suffer from a heart attack.
So, it's explainable that there is a relation between every organ of our body with the heart, but to consider heart as the origin of feelings, I suppose is not fully correct.
