Has Nepal changed over the last 20 years?

I visited Nepal about 22 years back. spent about 3 days there. I fell in love with the place. I vowed to go back some day but so far haven't been able to.
Is the place still the same? Should I make an effort to go there again? Will the old magic disappear if I visit there again?

First of all thank you for loving my country. I am a proud Nepalese who thinks that my country is really beautiful. There are places in Nepal which are filled with so much beauty that we will fall in love with the country itself. I do not have that much information about Nepal 22 years ago as I was not born back then but now the condition of Nepal is not that impressive.
There are still some conflicts going on in our country which is causing different problems all over the country. But the current situation is quite good than what is was a year ago. The Maoists have agreed upon maintaining peace and they have got their part in ruling the country. I recommend you to wait for some time before everything is stable in our country and then if you visit nepal you will have a wonderful time.

although there u will find so many changes u should travel
