I am going to the Canary islands in April can anyone give me some tips on what to see which island out of the group would be better to go to with a family? Where should I stay if I want to be really really close to the beach?

My family and I went to the canary islands last year during there "Christmas" which was actually in January so it was even cheaper then going during the end of December! We got a really good all inclusive deal at playa dorado(the hotel) on playa blanca(the city) which was on the island Lanzorotta. I highly recommend that island and hotel 100%! They even have nightly shows that are kid friendly. Two pools and the beach is RIGHT THERE. Just be warned that they have no rules about going topless and I mean even the 80 year old women do it. But you get used to it and its not perverse in any way. That island is way more family friendly then the main one because the main one caters to clubbers. Lots and lots of sight seeing to do and it also is a quiet island. If you do stay at Playa Dorado, you really don't even have to leave the hotel. They have everything you need for a wonderful holiday right there! I hope that you have fun! Geez I just realized how old this post is, but I will still respond just in case any one else is interested in a family trip to the Canary Islands.
