No, they usually play the songs. It's good even to know new series by its music and so. Depending on the radio, they have some publicity in between the musics, but not abusively.
The only radio talks that I ever heard that sometimes can talk about anime are japan radios, online radios in Japanese.

woowww... i always look for this stations, thanks for the links, i will start listening now... usually i just got to youtube.com and just watch anime there with searches and then personalizing it so i can play them to my list... ^_^ thannks for this..

I listen to an online station that plays a lot of anime OST music, J-rock and J-pop. I found it doing a random search for radio stations once. I love Japanese music, and I love being able to listen to more than just the collection on my harddrive! Even though it is a pretty big collection.

I love listening to anime radio stations. My ipod is filled with anime soundtracks and jpop music. I'm subscribed to live365 radio, they have all sorts of music there from different genre and a specific category for anime. I love tuning in to anime lemming radio. I believe they also have a website http://www.animelemming.org/

I don't, although I do like many anime OST and jpop a lot. I listen to anime soundtracks, too.
Some good anime soundtracks are from the anime Kanon and Air TV. I would recommend to check those out if you happen to encounter any of those
