The Mig-25 is not in production .. the Mig-31 is in production which is based on the Mig-25 but is completly different in terms of avionics , airframe composition , ........ The Mig-25 flew only once at 3.2M by an iraqi pilot who streaked past US forces in desert storm ... after he landed the engines were completly destroyed .... the mig-25 can sustain only 2.8M ... whereas the SR-71 can sustain 3M+ .... Even the Mig-25 is being withdrawn from serives due to maintainence costs and lack of spares .. The indian air force recently retired its mig-25's due to the above reasons and also the fact that satellites could perform the same role much efficently and would be cheaper

ya ur correct..but its producton is reduced because of the cost bulky equipments...

ya ur right.. but SR71 flight is not fighter rather i think it is bomber discovered by NASA
