I understand they are tired of seeing all these people trying to sing, they are tired of the costumes (ie: Apollo Creed), ever since the Korean Guy sang; "She bang..She bang". There is a retard frenzy on American Idol. I laugh through the whole show but If I were one of them I guess I would handle it the same. You got to be tough. We all have a dream. It's up to them to be brutally honest. Can you imagine if they let one of the retards slip thru, we'd all laugh at them. I applaude their rudeness. Some of these people need someone to tell them the truth. Apparently their friends didn't stop them from taking the trip.

I agree with you I thought Randy was taking Simons place as far as the rudeness goes, actually Simon started out rather mellow until the comment about the bush baby is there really room on the show for two Simon's?

Last night, I thought Randy was more of a jerk than Simon was. I mean Simon said some mean stuff as well. But Randy just kept giving it out like there nothing else. Paula was a little rude, but she was still sweet to the ones that I can't believe they thought they could sing. Hopefully, it will get better.

Yes I did. Paula is usually the peacemaker but even she got a bit sarcastic last night. Maybe when it is not an audition type show but the real one things will change.

I agree, they both are getting a little "ballsy". I can understand if they were tired of listening to all the "hopefuls" however we have this wonderful thing called TACT. You can tell a person they're not very good and still be tactful about it.

I don't know, I think there were occasions where Randy and Paula were a little mean in prior seasons, too. I think they were all just frustrated at a lack of talent on last night's show. I do think Simon seems more gentle this season though, being nicer to people I expected him to berate.

If you had to see all that terrible talent coming through trying to think they are good, wouldn't you try to get the point across? What if you were in retail and dealt with incompetent customers all day long? If you could say whatever you wanted, what would you say?

I agree that Randy is starting to be a little more rude. He was my favorite last season, but he's been really mean to a lot of the contestants. Paula is Paula-she's just one something. I've actually found myself leaning toward Simon this season...he seems nicer, I guess.
