managing a pub for the first time

my husband and I are doing a course for our licence and we want to know the best way to get our first pub.

the first thing to do is get your license from your state.once you do that look for a location thats safe but at the same time you want to be in an area where people hang out in pubs or bars.my grandparents owned a very successful bar and i learned how to run a business from them.
