Yes..... Answer is already given taj Mahal was named after mumjaz, wife of emporer Shah Jahan.... And i have heard that after the completion, shah jahan cut the hands of all chief architects fof taj mahal so that they do not build another structure like that.... I don't know how much true it is.....

The taj mahal is a palace in india. it was built by the emperor Shan Juan as a monument to his second wife Mumtaz Mahal.

It was constructed by shah jahaan on memory of his wife mumtaz(taj) so it is called as TajMahal
