do you poison your food with salt?

i dont take salt at all . i dont cook with it either. my kids however have a habit of pouring lots of salt on their food even before they taste it .is salt really so bad for you or should i use it?i figurte i get enough salt already in certain foods .

It depends what I'm eating. I can't eat vegetables, chips or roast potatoes without a little salt. I use sea salt all the time though, through a salt-grinder, and this won't do you any harm. It's the chemically aided salt which will give you the problem. I couldn't imagine life without a little salt. :-(
