Further education and children

Can you help? I want to get back to studying, either in the form of evening classes, or part time if I can get help with child care costs. I live in the UK and want to study media and or jounalism at diploma level. I don't know where to really start in finding out about the kind of help there is available. Also, is there a website I can look at to see what courses are available in a specific area as well as costs?
