What would you do if someone very close to you was RAPED?

I keep on seeing news on TV about girls being raped then murdered. Girls ranging from 4 to 59 years of age. One time, I saw a SENIOR CITIZEN pressing charges on a teenager accussing him of rape. There are times that even GAY people are being raped. Sometimes, I can not take away the thought of this happening to people that is close to me. Is there something we can do to prevent this from happening to our loved ones? If someone I know was raped, even if he/she is not that close to me, I'll definitely HUNT the rapist and give him the slow and painful death he deserves!

we can't do anything, unless we're with them 24 hours a day everyday, and we have ability to protect them with our power.
I have meet several people that have been raped ... one of them is my close friend ... and for some reason, i can't tell you about that detail *sigh*.
It's just, never leave the victim, give them hope and keep supporting them, let them know your empathy, your love, and your concern about their condition ...

I clearly understand why you do not want to share the details. Me, I do not know anyone who was raped and I want to keep it that way. And yes, do not ever leave your friend's side(not literally). Always try to be there to support your friend.
