Some stores go on SALE to sell their damaged and non-selling products

Yes, most stores sold their products thru SALES. Well, becuase money is hard to find, most consumers priority is not the quality but the price instead. Excluding rich people, though.

sometimes its a good option to do so.... i mean preference to price over quality but most of the times not...

I must add that near expiry food also a superstar in that department. Sometimes it is being bundled with free items, others is being packed as buy one take one, while some has a great percent of discount. And you may get surprised, I've been employed to one to Distributor company and we have some rich costumer frequently visiting that department.
