I want ot personalize my discussions and responses.....

I would love features like that, however, with any external addition, like a signature, it's going to create just as much harm as good. It'll make a lot of members happy, and it'll give a lot of other members something to complain about. Some people will write in the most annoying color or text known to mankind, forcing all of us to highlight the words in order to read them. Some signatures will contain offensive material, creating more abuse reports for mylot to sift through .... etc. I'd be happy just to be able to bold or italicize .. it's often needed to emphasize when responding or starting a discussion. If they added those features alone I'd be thrilled.

I definitely miss not being able to use emoticons. I'm surprised myLot hasn't offered those yet. Just little ones so they wouldn't use a lot of bandwidth. I think the other features you note would be fun too. They let us customize our profiles now, so I would think they will eventually let us modify our discussions too. Hopefully soon!

That's a great idea! i will love that! but i think there should be a guideline on how the color scheme should be...there are some members that i can't even see the wordings in their profile...but generally, i like this idea, maybe you should propose it to myLot administrator :D

I think so, I personally own a forum, and these things are allowed there. They help us express ourselves. We get really creative with them as well. We see some of the funniest stuff. Both graphically, and written. I'd like to see an "edit feature" of some sort. For major typo's on our OWN posts of course. or something like that.

Yeah, I think those are great ideas! In fact I'd like to see mylot in more of a forum type design, it seems a bit more organize. But I suppose beggars cant be choosers and I guess they have it set up like this for a reason :P

I think myLOT should start such features which try to express the feelings of the user he wants to express it here.. ! Usage of Emoticons in the text makes it more REAL ! I totally agree with u Hazydazy !

I think that would be a very fun feature for Mylot to add. My only concern is that we have enough problems with spammers and cheaters... how would that effect all of us who would use the feature in a nice way? My thought is that they would find a way to run that fun for us too. But I do agree that it would be fun to have the ability available to us.
