Shop for your own for others, which do you spend more?

I shop more for others, my kids and my husband. I see to it that they get what they need and want. I usually only shop for myself if there is a special occasion coming up.

I don't really shop often for me. I would much rather buy for others! I love seeing other peoples faces and the joy you can bring to them by thinking of them or buying a gift that is just right for them. I especially love surprising my family & others with a thoughtful gift that is not for any special reason except to say I was thinking of them.

With the many picky friends I have it's hard to buy for them. I love buying for me. My friend I give them gift cards...

My husband gets mad at me because of all the money I spend on my kids. Everytime I go out I see something that they need, but when it comes to getting something for myself I hate spending the money. He laughs at me because I think i am splurging if i buy myself a magazine.

i usually shops for myself, but for special occasions i shop for others too.

Well I have to say that I shop a lot for myself...a lot....but I absolutely love buy for my friends and family.

I definitly shop more for my children than myself. Children are always needing things especially the boys they are hard on sneakers especially mind anyways. And they grow really fast. I am definitly the last on the list to shop. Im a simple person but its nice to treat yourself every now and then.

I shop for myself only but if there's some special occassion, I do shop for them.

I tend to spend more on other people. I hate it sometimes though, I feel guilty when spending money on myself but am happy to spend double the amount on someone else. I think I need a backbone :)

I spend more on myself than I spend for others. I'm always afraid that the others aren't going to like what I get them, or that they'll complain about the price of an item. I hate worrying about things like that so I try and stay away from that.

i also love to shop for my loved ones but also like to buy stuff for myself.

I also usually shop for others compared for myself. I especially like buying things for my wife. She loved surprises so i tend to buy things to surprise her. The best thing is that she's the person that likes everything that i bought her, whether expensive or not. She said the thought that i have is more important. That is why i like buying stuffs for her. I will only buy things for myself during festive season or whenever i feel that i really need to replace the thing that i'm currently using.

I love shopping for my children. They are ages 8 months, 3 and 5 years old. I think i enjoy spending money on the more than myself...lol
