How did labor and delivery go when you had your FIRST child?

So I have recently just had a child and I know lots of you have had more than one child, but I want to hear about the FIRST one because thats when your new to the whole deal and its a little more difficult than everyone thinks! I want to hear about the hospital experience (good or bad), the drugs (good or bad),how the husband/boyfriend/fiance was for the whole event (good or bad), and how was losing the baby weight?
