Does anyone know of any suggestions out there on how to quit smoking? What kind of things did you do to quit to help you out?

Hello, madcat08, how are you?
It is really nice to meet you. Looks like you are facing some challenges quitting the habit of smoking. I recommend hypnosis to stop smoking. It is an easy way to stop smoking.

Look. there are many ways to quit smoking, Some may work for you, but some may not work for you.I think you should try the inexpensive, self help techniques which uses subliminal suggestions and hypnosis to change this deadly habit.
It is said, "Smoking helps you lose weight, one lung at a time (Alfred E. Neuman)"
So be really careful. Life is a one time offer only. Please read self help books too.

Well I think that the best way is just to lay them down and don't pick them back up. But there are patches out there have you tried them? My husband just layed them down and quit I wish you lots of luck. He says that he still wants one ever now and then.

You can try the patch, gum or even the pill. But, you have to really want to do it. Half of the problem in quitting is your own will power. I have not been able to quit myself, but I think that's because I really don't want to. When that day does eventually come, then maybe I'll be quitting too.
