We have heard and read news of racial abuse all over the world. African americans, people from the indian subcontinent, people from south eastern asia, are abused daily because of their ethnicity in even the so called developed western societies. How do you think it affects the person referred to, and how does it reflect the mentality of the abuser. and how should the concious and the concerned act to stop this.

Yes, and it's terrible. I think we should just learn to get along with each other and love each other. Instead of hating each other.
I worked at a pharmacy and this lady came in with her elderly mother. This lady had several other Rx's at different places and she would fill out her slips using her first name, middle name, maiden name or she'd use her middle name first, no "middle name" and then her married name. We had her in different computers under 4 different names. Anyways, I noticed it when I was filling a RX. And when I showed to the pharmacist, he questioned her. She was picking up Hydrocodones, but she just got thru picking some up at another place

When I was in school we were never taught with REAL DISCRIMINATION. (Although personallyh, I never faced discrimination in school, all through out my life, but there few incidents on bullies, but I was never bullied myself. Then as technology came about and I remember in about April the year before 2000, when the Oklahoma incident broke out, that is when many of us at our schools, were terrified. Being brave myself, I had concerns about this issue, of breaking into school, or kids not doing well, and retaliating.
This has a lot to do with the technology and media, expecially the game that lets you use weapons to hurt and destroy "enemies". All this was a game.
Likewise, the use and time into playing video games brings much to isolation of oneself.
Before the internet took places, many of us in school got well along with eachother. The entire school could be laughing and joking at eachother and there would be laughter. Now with technology it has brought is apart in many ways, taking out the actions that we should be aprtof in everyday lives.
It's sad to see schools are closing down, due to kids dropping out of school and not wanting to attend school for the sake that there may be problems arising, and kids being home schooled.
The technology of internet should have a system where there is a limited amount of time each surfer could use, and not go over 5 hours a day. It's a lot of harm to health.
It could lead to inactivity, difficulty in sleeping, feeling tired, (sleep deprevation).
What I suggest the internet should have is more interactive games, where like we can challenge eachother in avatar like Wheel and Jeopardy and Chess. =)
For those who like to gamble can look up Poker Tournatments and play. (for free)
So, what wuestions bring up our advancing towards the future ?
We'll only know, by changing our lives, and making it better.

i think it comes from a deep rooted sense of inferiority complex and insecurity crisis in th abuser....he is really not sure abt his own individual identity, so hate against a person or persons of ethnic groups or races earns him an important place in his own eyes...its sick really and pathetic...
