its not an indians fault .Its totally depends on our selectors.mmm if you concider the coach ,he plays a small role in that.......

That has improved a lot now with the change in selection committee which eventually brought in the change of the coach and the captaincy.

I guess Sourav should be given back the captaincy. Greg Chappel might be an outstanding coach, but so far he's proved otherwise. Wherever the defect lies, now it can only be corrected after the world cup.

i think the defect is really lies in the whole system not just the meare cricketers or captains or coach is resposible. as there are no great pitches to be able to bat or ball well, no facilities are available at junior level to get well trained and get right advice. and the polictics in cricket is also affecting our cricket but for now the main problem of our team's failure is our coach and our captain.

i think there is no defect as such..thngs have been really messed up right now.. the coach is a total gone case..speaks anythng anywhere not thinking what effect it will have on players bcci thinks money is the only way by which players can be compelled to play better selectors make a lot of silly blunders while doing selection with all those zonal politics players i think have become victims of politics ..tooo much public expectation and media hype along wth coach experimentation

the same coach was there before a year also when indian team performed well.so,the prob is wit the members and not with the coach.

Well I dont think there is a defect, I have been saying here at mylot, that ppl should stop declaring a team bad for just one series on one soil, see a little past of india, in pakistan, they did well, in champions trophy they did well, against england very well, and now fail in SA, ....... now against WI I think they will hit back, I dont see any defect because all teams of the world struggle when they go away from home to play, like australia dtruglled in ashes held in england and now its england's turn

I think the reason for the low performance of our players is that because of the fact that they are concentrating more on COMMERCIALS than on getting practise for the matches. They are running behind money unnecessarily when they should be knowing that money will not be an issue if they perform well.Self motivation is very much lacking in our team.Unlike the team Australia who even though have personal difference among the players they still play hard on the field putting away their fights in the hotel room...We Indians have to be much more competitive and work as a group...We are a competitive team which can an will beat any team for that matter.Confidence does matter a lot....
