Any time is good as long as you stick to a particular time. But Mornings are preferred.Because, the good results of your exercise can be channelised to your advantage because you are having a full day ahead. In the evenings, most of your rejuvenation is either wasted or un utilised as thetime in your hand less and at 10 (I suppose)you will go to bed.

I am not a morning person so I would find going to the gym difficult and I wouldn't be at my best, I think it's more of a personal thing, depending on when you are your peak, for me it's usually between 1pm and 4pm in the afternoon, that is the time I go to the gym, I go for both cv and weights but I do prefer the cv to the weights, I like to go four times a week, always the same time and I tend to spend about 1 hour 3/4 there, it does get addictive. Food intake is also important and should be considered when training.
