it is a ground that has a radius of nearly 85 yards ( varies slightly )
it has a ptich in the centre that is abt. 22 yards ( actually 22 yards )
on the 2 sides of the pitch are placed 3 sticks called the wickets ( stumps ) that are connected to one another by 2 bails
there are mainly 2 teams that compete against 1 another in this game
at any point of time in the game , 1 team bowls and the other team bats
each team can hava a max. of 11 players and in the side that bowls at any time , there is always a wicketkeeper will stand behind the batsman behind the stumps and a bowler who bowls with a leather ball
usually the games are 50 overs a side 1 over = 6 deliveries
a bowler can bowl a max. of 10 overs and cannot bowl 2 consecutive overs
there are always 2 batsmen at any point and if they take a run then they cross ends
the bowlers will bowl theis alternate overs from opposite ends of the pitch
the batsman scores a 4 if the balls reaches the end of the ground ( boundary line ) by hitting the field atleast 1 and if it crosses the boundary ( end ) directly then it is declared as a 6
a batsman is out if a fielder catche the ball on the full toss/ball hits the wicket before he reaches his crease/ball hits his legs that is right in front of the wickets
pls. ask back if you have any clarifications
