Warm wetter and huricane stroms...

I'm just listening to the news, they said that there are enourmous huricane storms all over the europe. And the wetter is warmer than it should be. For example in Vinkovci, my lil' town, winter temperatures are from -20 in night to -10 at day, but this year the lowest temperature was -1 and we were the warmest place in croatia, and we even don't have a see nearby. So what do you think, why is this happening???
