Zines - I would like to hear from people that read them or write them.

"A zine—an abbreviation of the word fanzine, and originating from the word magazine—is most commonly a small circulation, non-commercial publication of original or appropriated texts and images. More broadly, the term encompasses any self-published work of minority interest." (Wikipedia)
Have you ever written a zine? What was it about? Did you do it by yourself or with collaboration? Did you do one issue or many? Was it more difficult than you had imagined? I have always wanted to put one together.
What zines do you read?

I'm trying to write a zine about Joe Strummer/The Clash and related stuff (see the link in my profile)
it's a lot harder thasn you'd think trying to get my thoughts down so they make sense, then getting other people interested (kept finding people on livejournal who'd offer to write for it then never send anything), finding money for photocoping etc.

How would one go about getting a copy? Do you have a website?

A group of local crafters are working on putting one together, and I'm sure I'll be tapped for writing for it. We've been talking about recipes and craft tutorials for ours, and one of the ladies will have an advice column on running craft businesses. This is still in the early planning stages, but it seems like it will be a neat idea.
