Yes, you are right it is a waste. I usually get around 40 junk messages a day in my mail email address, in yahoo it is about 300 junk messages that are delivered to the junk folder--I have had the account since 1998! It is pretty sad, I just don't even read it and select them and put them in the junk mail folder :)

I read subject and see sender because some time I find my friends message in yahoo bulk folder sometimes I get important offer in junk mails so after quick checking I delete all except useful one. If I use internet some portion of our time may be wasted but may be some experience can earn from junk mail.

Yes they are because 90% of us dont even open our junk or spam folder and those junk e-mails are deleted by them selves. So no use of them. They are just simply waste of time.

Junk mail sucks! If I think the subject of the e-mail is fishy I delete it immediately. I check my mails everyday for incoming new mails and to delete those junk e-maisl, so they wont pile up.

I am fed up with junk mails;
There are a lot of junk emails in my inbox every day.
The mail servers have filtering function, but I found that I am still getting lots of junk mails!
I am fed up!
But I can not be without mail services, cause I am doing business.
Usually I delete those junk mails even without reading.
Do you have any good methods to handle Junk mails?

Junk mail is a huge waste of time, but instead of deleting it like I do everyday I decided to do something about it. I opened every single e-mail and unsubscribed from the lists that I was on. Now I have so much less junk mail. If you have extra time, just do it, it will be worth it.

indeed it is. YOu could have written lots of posts here but your mails just got piled, the good ones with the spam. From time to time I receive unsolicitated mails. These days, though, I got only mails from friends and free sites I subscribed to.

Junk emails are a complete waste of time. I just delete them without even opening them. Promotions are what make people rich, but half the crap i get is adult orientated so i just delete it. Takes a few seconds and i think nothing of it half the time. Best of luck to you.
