Deviants

I took a class in sociology a few years ago and realized what a "deviant" person I am, at least accoring to the professor. Funny, I never thought of myself as deviant. I guess I always thought of the word as being negative, rather than thinking about its meaning. It seems that since our American society belives that profit is priority, that quantity rather than quality rules, and my views deviate from that "norm," I am a deviant. OK. So, do you think greed rules the American society above all else? Do you believe in the priority of profit?
