superstitions

do you think we should believe in superstitions in todays modern times?even though it sounds silly, i still believe in a lot of superstitions, i feel that there is some basis in the superstitions. what do you people think?

i completely believe in superstitions..i cant do anything on a day i hav a fight on that day..like in the morning..i used to wear the same dress for exam all the 7 days..i could not go to the exam without wearing it.. in that way i am very superstitious

hey sanjana ,i did the same thing too.if m exam went well in that dress,i would wear it for all exams.

superstitions are basically practices resulting from ignorance, fear of the unknown and sometimes contrary to proven facts. People still believe in them because somehow they find peace of mind and it is not harmful anyway. Some do it just not to offend old folks who really believe them seriously.

Superstitions are part of everyday life. Have you ever repeated a task or motion because something good happens? Do you have your special attire for certain occasions? Do you have some sort of lucky charm? It's just a fun way to motivate yourself.

eeverybody is superstiotios little in a mind corner ,even though he or she denies.i dont want to be superstitious but i cant help to my superstitions.

I don't think so, believing in superstitions is kind of olden days of a think.
