I am in a Job at the moment which is in a supervisory position but the furthest I can advance is to the contract manager which will not happen for at least 5 Years when the current manager will retire (Even then it is not guaranteed) or I have been offered a new job at a major bank in a lower position (Consequently less pay) but the promotion prospects are huge.
I have to make a decision tomorrow Please Help !!!!!!

after reading your discussion, i think it would be a wise move for you to take the new job that you have been offered in the bank, as you say there are huge promotional prospects for you even if the money is less at first, it will get better after a while and who knows where you could be after five years.certainly not waiting for someone to retire to see if you might get the job, so go for it, and very good luck

I think that I personally would take the lower position in the bank, even if the money is lower the prospects are much better, the money will increase over time and I am sure that you will swiftly move up positions if you joined the bank. Your job prospects are not very good where you are now, maybe your job seems good at the moment but what happens if you don't get the promotion in 5 years.
