How Many Children Do You Have and How Many Do You Intend To Have ?

I have 5 children . 4 of them are my biological and I have 1 that is in my care . I am not quite sure if I would like to have any more but think that if I could get my medical problems under control that I might like to have one more . My husband on the other hand is happy with how many we have and doesn't like the idea of having anymore . There is an age gap with our children so we will be much older before they leave home and my husband feels we will never have time for us whereas I on the other hand can't imagine it just being us . I love the chaos and confusion that goes with a big family and think I will be bored when it is just us .

I have 3 children, 2 girls and 1 boy. I don't plan on having anymore, however I look forward to when my kids grow up and have their own. I love children and hope to have many grandkids.

I can't wait to have grandkids , I always tease my kids and tell them I am going to keep having babies until one of them is old enough to bring be home grandbabies , not looking good there though since the 2 oldest keep saying they are never having kids lol.

My husband has an 11 year old from a previous marriage that we get on the weekends. Together we have a 6 year old little girl and a 2 year old little boy. I want one more (hopefully a girl, lol). I was thinking a little earlier than when we had our son after our daughter but financially we can't right now. I would like to be done by the time I'm 30. My husband is going on 35 this year so for his sake also we don't want 2 wait much longer. I'm hoping in the next year or so we can buy our first home and then start trying but my goal is to wait till we buy our home!!

WOW 5 kids is a lot. I have a 7 year old and my girlfriend is pregnant. I would have to say that this is it for me. I can only handle so much at a time and 2 kids is about my limit. You must have a lot of patience. Where do you get it from and how can you afford to have so many mouths to feed. Good luck.

When I was younger I only want 2 children and my husband wanted 4 so we agreed on 3 ,but after I actually had my first and the pain from labour went away , I realized how much I truely enjoyed being a mom .I wouldn't say I have any more patience then the average person , you just take everything that happens at that time .As far as affording them all , we don't make a lot of money but my kids have never lacked for anything , I feel that if you want something bad enough in life you will make it work and for me that means making sure my kids always have what they need first .

I figure when I am older that will be a time for us , I believe in spending quality time with all of us as a family although I must admit that this can be very difficult at times with so many different schedules going on but we still manage to get some time in for all of us weather it is just sitting down to watch a movie or something .

I already have 1 baby boy, and he's such a darling! My husband and I intend to have just 2 or 3 at the most, since financially it is difficult to raise up kids especially in the metropolis area. If money is not a problem, however, we do want to have lots of kids-- maybe even a dozen! Haha!

Oh your baby is sooo cute . Money is always a problem but you somehow always find a way when you have children . We had nothing when we had our first but we always managed to make sure we had enough for her .

I have 2 grown boys - 23 and 20. The older one is still at home, the younger one is in the Navy stationed in Japan right now. I kinda like not having them under foot all the time. It's nice to take some time for me for a change :)
I am not ready for grandchildren - and neither are my kids...

We cannot predict the future 20 years from now, when they are old enough to leave the house and build their own family, or rather stay 100 steps away from your home and build their family there. As of now, if you think you could still support a dozen kids, then why not? As long as you didn't forget your responsibility with them, then you would be a model parent to everyone =)

I have one little boy that is 8 months. We want to have another one but not anytime soon. Maybe when our son is 3 or 4 we might try again. I want him out of diapers before we try to have another one. But 2 is the limit for me.

I have 3 wonderful children. The youngest two ar my biological children and my oldest son is adopted. I have had my son since his birth, we brought him home the day that he was born. I was always told that I would never have children of my own so we adopted. When my son was 9 years old I got pregnant with my daughter, there is ten years between her and her brother. I got pregnant again when my daughter was three years old and had my next daughter. I did not have my girls until I was in my thirtys. My husband would not like to have anymore children as he sounds like your husband, he would like for us to be able to do enjoy each other after the kids are gone. I on the other hand do not think that it would be the end of the world. He is right in the fact that having another would probably put us to old to enjoy life by the time it was grown. It honestly does not matter to me either way is fine.

I'm 27 & I don't have any children
I don't really like kids & I don't have the patience for them, not to mention that I don't think i'd be a good mom.
I don't really want kids but maybe if I found the right guy...maybe one day

It is never a wrong decision if this is how you feel as we don't all have the same interest in life .

I already have a 2 year old girl and an 8 month old boy. For me and my wife, that would be enough. Its really hard to give a good life to your kids when you're just an average earner.
:)
