Did 'The Babel' deserved to be the best movie at globe awards

I saw the movie i was not that impressed with the movie. It was message giving but not worth such prestigious award . there were lot of other movies which deserved this award... what have u peopple to say bt it??

I also saw the movie the other night and wondering why it won best movie. there was really nothing about it that could have even gotten near an award. have nothing to watch from what was showing but i chose that because of the awards it won so i was thinking it would probably be good, but was so much disappointed.

what do "babel" really means? i've watched the movie last night and some things were left unexplained at the end.

Babel actually means : A city ~(babylon) where god confounded a presemptuous attemp to build a tower into heaven by confusing the language of its builder into many mutually incomprehensive languages.
Also used as : A confusion of sound or voices or a scene of noise and confusion.
