I like both, but i probably would go with McCready, i seem to prefer his solo's.

I prefer Stone because he is the main songwriter of the band

I really like them both equally. They are both very good. I agree though that I like Stone's song writing, though Eddies lyrics are by far the best of any other of the band members.
