I'm living in a third world country and there is no future here for me and my kids. Or at least I feel that way... everyone else is working and surviving... can someone motivate me or help me realize that I am still better off than alot of people. I want so bad to work and live elsewhere.

are you a nurse? am asking because your nickname has the word nurse in it. anyway, i was from a third world country, and i did feel like there was no future there... it had less to do with being poor: and more about living in a place with a corrupt government and corrupt politicians, high crime rate, lack of government support services, poor public school education, high private school education tuition fees, high unemployment rates, and the list went on. if you want so bad to live and work elsewhere, you can still do it: start searching for a place to transfer to now. which country is accepting migrants now, how much money does it take to migrate. what are your skills---which country is in need of your particular skills right now. living a life of despair is no way to live, so do something about your situation. ask yourself what you want to change, and think of a way to do that.

And you have a computer at your disposal? I'm sorry, but that doesn't sound like poverty to me... besides, it's your link with the outside world and gives you the opportunity to find a job and new home online. I suggest that's possibly how you should approach things.

If you have a place to live, food for yourself and your kids, and a loving family then you are better off than a lot of people. But that does not minimize what you are going through and feeling. Is there any way that you can further your education where you live? I wonder from your user name if you are a nurse? If you are, why couldn't you immigrate to another country and find a job- you could start applying for citizenship when you enter the country and begin building a better life for you and your family. Nurses are needed everywhere in the world. I don't know about other countries, but the U.S. has International Institutes in most major cities. The purpose of these agencies is to assist foreign born immigrants in the process of integration into the American society, including finding housing, employment, language assistance, filling out paperwork, and healthcare. You don't have an easy road ahead, but you can choose to change your life. It is just going to take planning on work on your part. If it's what you really want to do, then I hope that you find the motivation to do it.

checked out your profile, and other discussions you have started/ my dear friend, i do not believe you have the slightest idea of what suffering is, or what a hard life is... pizza? corn dogs? mozzarella sticks? please...try eating once a day, or two very small meals a day, and see how that feels... even in the richest of countries, there are people suffering more than you or your family... mosquitos? who cares...take an aspirin, non-generic of course, and pray... start your immigration paperwork, and i'm sure things will improve...
