The debate rages on. What is most important, a healthy well balanced diet or an active lifestyle that incorporates some amount of exercise. Well I think, dieting or temporarily changing ones eating pattern can only be a band aid approach to weight loss. A more sensible method is to take time and learn to eat what is best for you and your body. You will automatically need to exercise less if you eat the right foods. We all need minimum nutritional requirements whether in terms of carbohydrates, proteins and even fat.
Therefore eat sensibly and exercise daily is the right mantra. How many of you practice this, if not incorporate now.

The best way to lose body fat is by doing them both. When you train you not only burn caloriers but also protect yourself from losing muscle mass. The proper diet plan with balanced calorie intake will help you to get in shape without starvation. Many people think that you have to eat only crapy foods when you are on a diet, and that simply isn't true. You can eat delicious meals without feeling hungry and getting thinner at the same time ! All you have to do is to get yourself the proper information, and to be patient. So just train 3-4 times a week and eat healthy and well balanced food, and the results will come. Everybody can ask me if he wants to know something about how to eat and train properly.

Exercise won't guarantee weight loss, and reduced eating is something that one can only sustain for a limited amount of time. Some people are just going to be fat no matter what.

Diet or excercise? Of course both. This is the best approach to stay fit and healthy. But, what happens if you do both but still your scale is stuck to the same number? I have tried everything....dieting, exercise, weight loss cremes, massage, you name it and I can't get rid of the extra 6-8 pounds I want to loose. I have a few extra pounds on my thighs mostly. Anyone experiencing the same problem? Any suggestions?
