which is the most fasinating place to visit in goa?

I want to visit goa once in my lifetime. well frankly speakng i want to be close to beaches in goa. what is goa famous for, what are the place in goa one can visit.

there are loads of places to visit in goa,all the beaches vagator, anjula etc etcand then there is the cathedral of st francis where his body is still preserved .
