I am heard many people lately say that marriage, especially in the US is just a crock. That marriage is usless since it won't last. Or that marriage is just a thing that Christian people do to make themselves feel better.
How do you feel about marriage? Why do feel this way?

Marriage is one of those things that has a strong social implication. There are the religious people who think marriage and children are the meaning of life and you shouldn't be in an intimate relationship unless you're married. Due to this, the anti-religious people go in the polar opposite direction and vow to never get "tied down" and say that marriage is archaic, degrading(if you're a woman) and useless.
The truly strong-minded people define love and marriage for themselves, regardless of the religious or societal implications.
