Racism against Shilpa

Are the remarks against Shilpa such a big issue that it is bothering the Politicians?
Everytime a bully picks on someone, will it be made into an international issue or this incident just bringing to the public eye racism in general.
Is it just the ignorant few who are giving the british public a bad name?

There are more important things to worry about in the world than two people aruging over an oxo cube.
I don't think it's racist; it's just the fact Jade went off like she did to an Indian - if they person was English people wouldn't think anything of it and the stories may even be humerous ones of how she went crazy.
The whole things blown out of control - something Channel 4 are secretly pleased about (ratings)
