Sachin Tendulkar - the next captain ?????

Recently Vengsarkar has indicated that Sachin Tendulkar may be the fittest person to take the responsibility of captaincy. Do you think so? When Ganguly is in the side and Dravid has simply succumbed to the pressure of captaincy, do n't you think, it will be better if Ganguly was selected for captaincy once again?

Hi dear its a good topic for discussion. But what i think Dravid should be given some more time. If he proves himself in this coming series against West Indies n Sri Lanks then he should continue. And if he doesnt perform well the second option should be definatly Ganguly coz he is the Best captain so far. Sachin was not successfull as a captain,. So ganguly should be given the priority over sachin.

well really would like sachin leading team India again he is a hero for many youngsters and the team will be inspired if he takes over again

Only point is that Sachin decided to step down the last time he was offered the job, captaincy seemed to be a burden for him.

ganguly should be selected as a captain .....and when ever was selected as a captain his performance was always low

u r right...ganguly needs to take over if dravid steps down...remember the statistics that ganguly has been the most successful captain of india and india faced a horrid time when india was under his captaincy just a few years bfor....

he can't play his usual style when under pressure.so,by giving him the respondsibility of captening India,he would not be able to produce his wonderful style...
