worm patties for burgers?

I really like eating beefburgers, but some friends and other people told me that sometimes its not really a 100% beef. Especially those burger that can be easily bought from fastfoods. Sometimes they use cultured worms (edible worms) or mix some of it on the beef patty mixture. they say.."you can never figure it out because it tastes good just like beef." eeeww!!!How true is that?

Up until lets say the last 5 years most fast food places put soy in their burgers to strech the meat (same thing the schools do for burgers). Now the majority of fast food places use 100% beef.
