My friends and I were having a discussion the other day. We were asking each other if they thought the subscription fee for World Of Warcraft ($15) was to high. Some said no, some said yes. I personally think yes if you are younger it could be pricy, but if you have a supporting job and don't mind spending time playing games then i think it is fairly reasonable. I do not have a job but i just joined myLot and i am looking to see if it would be a good way to pay for my World Of Warcraft subscription

Way too expensive. The game i play is only 5/month, but its kinda crappy.. but 15 is crazy. Thats like 180/year, which is a fair bit, and they take tons of time to play, and if you don't play, you waste money, and tons of it.
Its too expensive, it should be half that or so. They have 8,000,000 people subscribing, they can afford to lower it.

I agree with you mostly so lets add it up for a minute. If you been playign for 3 years (since it came out) thats $180/year for 3 years so $180.00 x 3 = $540.00 then you bought the actualy game so $540.00 + $40.00 = $580.00 and then you buy The Burning Crusade Expansion when it came out so $580.00 + $40.00 = $620.00 so if you been playing for the whole time and you bought the expansion it has been costing you $620.00 which could total 620 double cheese burgers at mcdonalds (not including tax) or you could buy 1 of every item at dollar store and still have some left over amazing how much people spend on entertainment and they don't even know it.

I don't even know what the game is so I am not sure.
Permission Research gives you 450 games just for running their little program every so often so perhaps paying $15 just for one game is a bit dear?? but it all depends on what the games are. If you want to check them out there's a link here somewhere www.sleekbytes.com/paid-survey

I say for the time most users spend playing. Its just fine, they are getting their moneys worth anyway so why complain. I dont play but my husband does. if its too much then dont play. if you use if for so many hours they need to make a profit as well

If you are a younger person that can't really afford it yes it is high. Games now days are very expensive. The think that if you buy the game you shouldn't have to subscribe to anything.

I think that really depends on how much enjoyment youll get out of it. People pay almost that much for a movie ticket so they can be entertained for and hour and a half by a movie at the theatre and i think thats ridiculous but i shell out 35$ a year on my pogo subscribtion so that i can play games on there site and think its well worth it, we live in a fairly remote area and with not very much in the way of nightlife and kids that would keep me in anyways its something for me to do at night that entertains me so its one of those its all relative things as far as i can tell, if youll get a lot of enjoyment out of it then its not going to end up feeling like a high price to pay.

I don't think $15 is too much, I mean the game is pretty addictive and for the hours some people put into it its astonishingly good value, perhaps the lack of a limited hours or a cheaper casual subscription has put me off from continuing my subscription as I don't have the time to play anymore.

I don' know anything about World of Warcraft, so I do not know if $15 is too much. I do know about mylot, and it would be an excellent way for someone to make that money. It is totally doable to make $15 per month here. With earnings clearly posted and payouts made at known times, it is an easy system to live with.

just right with all the extra copntent in the game u are getting more than you would if you bought a ordinary vidio game for near the same price. and with the collectors edition with all the extra stuff in that both in and out of the game it's completly worth it.

In my opinion WoW is worth the price, because I use to play console games and I would buy about 3 or 4 games a month at about 30 dollars minimum per game and now I have not bought a console game in about 5 months so the world of warcraft fee has saved me quite a bit of money. It might differ for other people, but if I was a kid with no job and trying to talk my mom and dad into paying the subsciption for me, I would say that playing WoW would save money by that opinion right there. The other bonuses is that you learn how to type pretty good and u get to play with other people and not just by yourself all the time. As an adult or child I see it as a way to save money cause the game keeps you interested even at the lvl cap. Just my opinion on it. =)
