why people not interested to add aged people in his/her 's friend list?

i think people not just taking this type of site as real community site but it will take it as only medium of an enjoyment so my opinion is that add people to your list,i must say that from aged people you know more about your next future how to live your rest of the life.b'coz thaey have a lot experience in their green days. please give you viees? on this topic
