how many of you experience lack of sleep or no sleep at all during night times because your baby is crying? what do you do to calm them? i'm fortunate that my baby does not cry at night. he only wakes up in the middle of the night for feeding but does not cry at all. or sometimes he cries for a few minutes because he had a dream or was disturbed from sleep. does your baby cry at night?

My baby doesn't cry all night but i keep her in my bed with me as hubby works all night. so when she wakes up i wake with her right away and feed her and she drifts back to sleep during my nursing her and then i can fall back to sleep easily too! co-sleeping, its a wonderful thing.

They say I'm one of the lucky parents who get enough sleep because I don't have to take care of my crying baby at nigth.
During my baby's first three months, she wakes up in the middle of the nigth for feeding but she will not cry. She will just wake us up by kicking her feet. Now that she is already 1 year old, she rarely wakes up in the middle of the nigth for feeding. She will take her last bottle of milk before she sleeps and will have a good nigth sleep after that. Although, sometimes she wakes up crying, maybe because she dreamt of something bad but I just have to hold her and she will stop crying and will try to sleep again.

My baby is now 12 years old but when he was 8-10 months old he was up every hour on the hour...it was torture. He started to sleep through when he was 2 months old and then for no apparent reason started waking. He continued this for 2 months (it felt like 2 years...it's etched on my memory banks forever) until I tried controlled crying, then on the 3rd night after starting controlled crying he was back to his 12 hours a night and I was back to feeling like a human again instead of a zombie!
