Some of the people I know are just that lucky as if everything they touch turns into gold. But some are exactly the opposite that no matter what they do, they are just going nowhere. One spents his life job hunting and if ever he got one, it will only be for a couple of months then jobless again. The sad thing is he wants to get into a relationship but girls shun him for being jobless. He always says he's a born loser.

I do not believe that born losers exist in this world. Each person should do according to his ability and count his blessings, no matter how small.Availability of good health, mobility and/or being alive are already proofs that you have won half the battle. If losing a job is perpetual, then I think that person needs to reflect on his working attitude. If not, shun away from industries that are volatile. He can choose to hold 2 part-time jobs and if he loses one, he has still another to hang on to while looking for a replacement. Lowering his expectation of girls may also be an answer to finding a girlfriend. I person who thinks himself to be a born loser will subconsciously hinders his own ability to excel.
