What was your favorite ride at the playground

Today, I took a break from the computer and took my 2 yr old to the park. The parks aren't anything like I had growing up. This park had tunnels and slides, mokey bars. What I didn't see is that spinning thing or any swings. I loved the spinning thing but it always made me sick. What did you enjoy most at the park?

Going to the playground has become an almost weekly thing for my family. The new favorite thing at the park for my kids is the monkey bars because they finally learned how to swing across by themslves. It took a while with me holding them through it but they finally managed to do it on their own and they are so proud.

yep, I remember those days. My four older children all played together at the park. My youngest one is kind of on her own out there. It's crazy having another baby 10 years after I thought I was done, but truly a blessing.

I always loved the swings and slides. I would do daring moves on both. I can't believe I used to jump off of the swings when they would go way up high. If I did that now, I'd probably break a bone or something.

Yep, I used to do the crazy swing jumping stunt too! In PA, we had some tarzan vines in the woods and we would be swinging from those too! The trick was finding one that was actually attached!

I'm kind of get freaked out in enclosed spaces myself. I made the mistake of going into a mirror maze. I thought I was going to FREAK out! LOL I really felt trapped. My son saved me.

I like those as well but the swings were always my favorite and I still like to swing but now its on the front porch swing. LOL

Mine would be the swings. They were really high and it felt like you were flying when you finely got the swing up in the air.Sometime we would get 2 kids on it. One standing up and help pump the swing up into the air. It was less work that way. it took some time to learn how to pump the swing so you didn't have to have someone to push you.

I think my favorite ride was always the tire swing. We didn't have one at our school but my dad played basketball at a different elementary school playground several nights of the week. While the men played ball I was on the tire swing watching. I guess I liked it because it was something different to do.

My husband put one in the yard for the kids becuase there was a huge magnolia tree in the backyard. We moved and this backyard only has citrus trees. My kids miss their swing. (sad face)

My favorite playground is my school volley ball ground. Always i play in volley ball with my friends. I like volley ball game. The playground is very superb.

We didn't have volleyball, just a baseball field and football field and basketball courts. I loved volleyball in HS, I wasn't very good at it though! Soccer was my sport!

I used to enjoy the spinning thing also.I wish I could remember the name.But I also liked the slides,only if it was not too hot.Remember on those hot days when you would try to slide down and say ouch all the way down?

I loved the first time my god daughter climbed into our parks cubbyhouse/slide/monkey bars combination and then looked down at me and smiled as if to say look how clever I am.

I know exactly what look you are talking about! I think that's why I enjoy the park as much as my kids. It's relaxing and fun.
