20:20 cricket!!!!!!!

i really dont think that it is killing the game... it is just another form of cricket that has been introduced... it is for people who just want to see some hard hitting and for people who dont like watchin cricket for 8 hours on the go... if people really understand the game of cricket then they will never lose interest in the original version as many many aspects come into the 50 over version that cannot be seen in 20 over version...in the longer version u see batsmen play good technical shots more often and many various gameplans come into the picture over the fifty overs... this cannot be seen in the shorter version...

it now very popular in the all country....... next no 50 over match only 20 over match only

It is an Interresting Game, but its only batmens game. Every one wants hit every ball and doing so they can not consentrate on most of the delevries, Batsmen loose thier compose and consentration

as the world s fast moving,we r like to hav fast game so20:20 s advisable..for 50 overs match it takes whole day.but it's not in the case of 20:20...

I agree. Just yesterday I read Adam Gilcrist's interview, where he said that in the coming days 400 will become the norm in 50 overs game. He attributed this change to twenty twenty. I mean I enjoyed games where 250-275 were scores and where there's a fair competition between Bat and Ball, where sense prevails and not just slogging is the order.

yeah u are right...20-20 is killing game....everything goes pretty fast there....but dont say that itz batsmans game... it can be bowlers game if they get early wickets... u seen match of india and southafrica??? i think it was a bowlers game rather than batsmanz then u said people are slowly losing intrest n 50 over cricket....yeah i agree with u to some extend... but i still like test cricket and 50 overs itz because each type of match has its own style and interests.. some people like test match....u know 5th day of test match is more intresting than anything for me... some like 50 overs and some busy bee likes 20-20 so i dont think there is any need to change 20-20 let it also grow...many countries dont play cricket simply because it is long and takes more time.... 20-20 takes only 3 hours...so if 20 -20 becomes more famous then more countries will show interest to cricket
