Wait for Vista?

Hey Everyone,
I am thinking about getting a new computer in the near future and I was wondering, should I wait for Vista? When is it going to come out? Also, will it really make a big difference if I have XP or Vista? Any opinions?

I think Vista will be launched this year, since it is the newest Microsoft Operating System, I think there are more features in it than the XP, which we are currently using right now.

It has come out my dear friend.
It is a great OS. But I would like to say that it is "A SYSTEM HOG". Don't use it if you have less than 1 GB RAM and 1.6 GHz processor.
Also I would like to suggest you that it would be better to wait for 2-3 months more as it is new so many softwares wouldn't be compatible with it especially Games. So before its SErvice Packs are released it is not worth my money at least.

Visually, Windows did a big step with Vista. The environment is pretty good and clear. But the requirements is a bit higher ofcourse than XP. But if you are a gamer, then I say settle in XP but if you prefer visual and environment, I say Vista.
